Horse Riding Patara Beach and Small Sand Dunes

2-3 Hour Beach & Small Sand Dunes Excursion: Starting from our stables in Patara, we pass through the forest on straight tracks, reach the viewpoint where we can see the ruins, and then descend to the main road leading to the beach. We pass through the ruins and reach the small dunes near the beach, before we reach the beach, we pass over this strip of sand and reach the beach. We can only ride along the beach if it is not the season for hatching turtles. You can also go into the water if you are a confident rider (but if it is time for the turtle to hatch, we will not go into the water, then we will climb to the top of the small sand dunes by the beach and from there we will enjoy the sunset or sunset.) After that we stop to rest. After resting, we will start walking back to our stables in Patara, over the sand, through the forest, past the ruins.

After resting, we will continue our journey along the beach towards the river, where we will stop for a swim and a barbecue, then take a stroll along the beach or forest back to our stables in Patara.

Horse Ride Along the Lycian Way

We offer 2-hour excursions, half-day excursions, full-day excursions and 2-4-day excursions along the Lycian Way.

2-Hour Journey: Come with us and enjoy a relaxing journey along the Lycian Way at a steady pace. Along the way, you will have the chance to enjoy the magnificent view of the entire beach of Patara and the ruins including the amphitheater, senate building, castle and much more. We will take a short break here to rest the horses, enjoying the view of Yala Bay and Kalkan in the distance, and give you another chance to take pictures and enjoy the scenery before returning to Patara.

Half Day: We pass through the forest along the Lycian Way, accompanied by magnificent views.

Full Day: We move along the Lycian Way from Patara in the direction of Kalkan, pass through the forest and pass the ancient ruins. An hour later, we will take a bird's-eye view of Patara beach and ruins from our first stop, from here you can see the Kalkan Islands on your left. Then we continue horseback riding and arrive at Firnaz Bay to take a break for swimming, relaxing and barbeque on the beach before noon. Then we return to Patara along the aqueduct.

2 - 4 Day Trips on the Lycian Way: From Ovacık, where we camp, we spend the night near Fetihye or in an old village stone house or luxury rooms. The route we follow on this journey passes us by: Faralya, Kabak, Alnca, Gay, Gavuragli, Letoon, Xanthos and Patara. These trips include: Journey, breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation. Equestrian Holidays

We offer complete packages for 1 or 2 week riding holidays that include accommodation in our apartments, villas or hotel rooms. We are planning to build a bungalow for the stables as well. If you wish, get to know your horse by helping with feeding and grooming. These packages will include your airport transfers, accommodation, daily excursions, and you can also include your meal if you wish. The hours you spend in the saddle each day are flexible.
